Richard Duane Crow, 64, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at his residence.

He was born September 2, 1950 in Rural Valley, PA, the son of Richard R. and Donna M. (Peters) Crow.

Rick graduated from Indiana High School in 1968 and then went on to serve in the US Air Force, retiring as a staff sergeant. He was a former part-owner in the family business, R&L Pepsi Distribution and Swift Vending. Rick also was a past owner of Fox's Pizza and worked as an over-the-road trucker. He was a member of the Pattonville VFW and also belonged to the Kittanning Eagles, where he served as vice president, president, trustee, chaplain, secretary and the secretary for District 4 throughout the years. Rick's favorite hobbies were gardening, crocheting and reading.

Rick's family would like to thank Regional Director Steve Weight and RN Traci Smith of Three Rivers Hospice, and LPN Linda Bellas for their kindness and thoughtfulness during this time.

His memory will be cherished by his mother, Donna M. Crow, of Kittanning; son, David Crow, of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Jaime Crow Rizzardo and husband, Paul, of Kittanning, and Sarah Crow, of San Antonio; grandson, Jalen Cooper; sisters, Deborah Freeman and husband, Paul, of Flagstaff, AZ, Kimberly Kutsch and husband, Jim, of Kittanning, and Luan Morris and husband, Bob, of Worthington; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; special companion, Connie Shoemaker, Ford City.

Rick was preceded in death by his father and sister, Cathy Crow.

At the family's request, services will be private.
