William G. "Bill" Kubler, Sr., 77, of Dayton, PA, died, Monday, May 23, 2016 at Back to Basics Personal Care Home.

He was born October 26, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Gerard and Arlene (O'Brien) Kubler.

Bill honorably served in the US Army and retired from the Woodland Hills School District, where he worked for 20 years as head mechanic. He loved animals, including his horses that he cared for as pets. Bill also enjoyed watching and attending stockcar racing events.

He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Lundy (Majestic) Kubler; sons, William Kubler, Jr. and wife, Shirley, of Baldwin, Mark Kubler and wife, Lori, of Monroeville, Gerard Kubler and wife, Evi, of Delmont, and Ronald Kubler and companion, Rihanna, of Delmont; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Clara Anderson and Joann Kubler.

At the family's request, visitation will be private.
