James Anthony Ganoe, Jr.

James Anthony "Vince/Vinny" Ganoe, Jr., 72 of Rimersburg, PA, passed away at 8:25 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at his home after battling Alzheimer's for six years.

He was born on March 31, 1953 in Brookville, PA; the son of Dorothy (Shaw) and James Ganoe, Sr.

A United Mine Worker member, James previously worked at Carpentertown Coal Works for 20 years. In 2005, he played a key role in helping to open Penn West Home in Emlenton where he worked until 2019.

He married Patricia (Kriebel) Ganoe on June 8, 1985 combining their families from prior marriages. A true family man, James valued hard work. His passion for tools led him to start his own business, "The Tool Krib." In his free time, he found joy in maintaining his property.

He will be fondly remembered by wife, Pat; as well as son, John Renwick and wife Corrie, and their children, Anna, Logan, Lauren and Zachary; son, Rick Renwick and wife Beth, and their children Jack and Payge; daughter, Miranda (Ganoe) Stull and husband Bill, and their children Drake, Gianna Leigh, Ellianna Capri and the newest addition this fall, Adrianna Grace; son, James Anthony Ganoe III and his son Luca James; son, Jody Ganoe and wife, Tammy, and their children, Mya, TJ, Jason and Gavin; and son, Tim Ganoe.

James is also survived by Bill and Faye Ganoe, Don and Kelly Ganoe, Chuck Ganoe, and Carole Frost.

James was under the care of Clarion Forest Hospice. Together hospice, his wife, Pat and their special friend Gale Buzard lovingly cared for James while he was transitioning alongside his loved ones.

James was preceded in death by his parents mentioned above; in addition to Judy Beichner; Theodore "Ted" Ganoe and Richard Ganoe.

At James's request, there will be no visitation but a private celebration will be held at a later date.
