William J. "Bill" Heginbotham
William J. "Bill" Heginbotham, 91, of Butler, PA, formerly of Kittanning, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Butler Memorial Hospital

He was born on Feb. 24, 1935 in Adrian, PA, the son of Deemer and Ruth (John) Heginbotham.
Bill was a graduate of East Brady High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was employed over 35 years with Noel Ford, as their service manager. Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR and liked to stay busy, especially when working with his hands. He loved to carry on a conversation with anyone he met and was known for his love of storytelling and joking with others. Bill's friendly personality and warm nature will be missed by all who knew him.
His memory will be cherished by his son, Jeffrey S. Heginbotham and wife, Deborah of Kittanning; his daughter, Cheryl A. Mallory and husband, Gregory of Kittanning; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, E. Marlene (Blair) Heginbotham whom he married on May 2, 1958 and who passed away on Aug. 5, 2023; daughter, Tammy L. Hilman; brothers, Wayne, Charles, John, and James Heginbotham; and a sister, Kathleen (Toy) Shirley
Family and friends will be received from 2 PM until the time of services at 4 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.
Interment will be in Whitesburg United Methodist Cemetery, Whitesburg, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the Whitesburg United Methodist Cemetery Fund, 12272 US Route 422, Kittanning, PA 16201.
